Symbiosis 3 – Human Impacts on Ecosystems

Symbiosis 3 is a digital learning material for the third biology module of the Finnish upper secondary school curriculum (BI3). The module looks at biology from the perspective of environmental ecology. Environmental ecology studies the impact of human activities on the environment and biodiversity. The learning material introduces the ecological basis for the sustainable use of natural resources and the disturbances caused by human activities in ecosystems.
