This learning material is for physics module 2 (FY2 Physics, society and the environment). The module examines how energy is produced, transferred and used, and the effects that these activities have on the environment, on society, and on people’s wellbeing. The key perspective is how the concept of energy occurs in these contexts, and how the concept of energy helps us to approach and clarify discussion of the subject and related viewpoints.
