The Symbiosis 1 learning material covers the first module of Finnish upper secondary school biology ("BI1: Life and evolution").
In the first section of the learning material, the student will familiarise themselves with biology as a natural science, the common characteristics of living organisms and the basic requirements of life. In the second section, the student will learn more about the evolutionary forces and mechanisms that have made the world of living organisms like it is today. In the third section, the student will learn more about the classification of living organisms.
The book's exercises are suited for various skill levels.
